Meghan, a homeschooling mother of three children aged 7, 4, and 2, talks about a day the life of her homeschool.  Her approach to homeschooling is primarily inspired by both Charlotte Mason and Waldorf, so she tends to delay formal academics and focuses on the rhythm of home and nature.

True to Charlotte Mason, lessons are short and varied and the family spends lots of time outdoors.  Her biggest challenge is meeting the needs of all her children at the same time.  Part-way through the door she will send the kids outdoors in order to break up the day and give her time to take care of chores, e-mails, etc.

Many of her homeschooling materials are sourced from Wildwood Curriculum and A Delectable Education.

Meghann is a wife, mother of three, writer, and proud lefty who lives in the Texas Hill Country on 6.5 acres with a large garden, two dogs, a flock of 20 chickens, and a pet bunny. She finds joy in simplicity, deep connections, nature, and meaningful craft projects.
